Rebecca Walser is a bestselling author, tax attorney, wealth strategist, and a certified financial planner®. Her Team works with each client in a way that is unlike their CPA, other financial advisor, money manager, investment banker, or lawyer because Ms. Walser is different… Leveraging her background as a financial consultant and a tax attorney, she is uniquely qualified to structure and implement the best wealth strategies for her clients.
Clients often have several advisors; accountants, lawyers, and investment managers, among others. “In practicing law, I often found this advice conflicts between professionals and leaves the client confused. Even more common is the lack of communication and coordination between professionals such that a client’s legal documents aren’t aligned with their asset structure or risk management plan.” Ms. Walser focuses her team around one holistic plan that incorporates the overall goal of maximizing wealth and minimizing taxes, as well as managing risk, educational and retirement planning, coordinating legal structures and plans, and the appropriate asset classes and diversification for such goals. Beyond an integrated plan, the Practice incorporates sophisticated tax and wealth management strategies, estate distribution & legacy planning, as well as business succession planning.
Ms. Walser specializes in working with high income professionals, especially business owners, surgeons, physicians, and high net worth families. The biggest challenge in working with these clients is the misconception that they have all their bases covered through the advice of their current CPAs or other financial advisors. Ms. Walser explains that “Our services cover topics never even brought up by 99% of traditional financial advisors or money managers. Additionally, most CPAs typically only utilize between 15 and 20 deductions with their typical client, while we use over 400 in our tax mitigation consulting. Therefore, I would go so far as to say that the vast majority of high income and high net worth clients would greatly benefit from our services, even while they retain their existing CPA.” She continues, “The reality is, if these types of clients have never had a consultation with a tax attorney whose purpose is to maximize their wealth and minimize their taxes, or they have been following conventional financial advice, then, they are without a doubt missing the boat!”
Ms. Walser manages a national tax advisory wealth practice with clients across the country and feels that virtual meetings are her best technological friend. “We leverage technology to appropriately balance our face-to-face meetings with virtuals.”
